Good Start To My Monday.

Off to an interesting start.....

I woke up early today, and went straight to the gym. My feelings towards the gym have definitely changed. I used to begrudgingly, go and do my 30 minutes on the treadmill, and hate every last second. Let me just say my smart watch has had a lot to do with this change. I have a goal for steps on a daily, weekly and monthly level. I am sure Dr. T will be happy to hear of this change too.

Let's get back to the events of my morning. I was walking on the treadmill and a woman a little older than me, shoot maybe my age, I am no good at guessing a persons age, got on the treadmill next to me. I just kept going on with my walking. Then I saw her start her workout with the trainer. Now, in my mind this woman was a bit larger then I am, or at least that was what the voice in my head was saying. Again, we were probably the same size. I watched this woman do as she was instructed by her trainer and she did well. I have been thinking since our gym moved and it is a bigger place, that maybe a trainer would be for me. (Then I remember when Don and I worked with a trainer when we first signed up at the gym. I couldn't move for a week) The fear kicks in and has me thinking, I really don't need that trainer, I got this. Then I look down and the muffin top is screaming for me to gt a trainer. Back to my story. So, she completes her work out and I complete mine. But, not without some interesting thoughts, which will come later in this post.

My gym is next to Fry's Grocery store. I remember Don ate the last banana, and I will be needing those for my breakfast, of multigrain pancakes. I go over to fry's hoping, of course that the banana's will be in the front section of the produce area and that I don't run into anyone I know. I may have sweat on the back of my t-shirt from my workout. 1 out of 2 isn't bad, right? Of course the bananas are at the back of the produce section. It's ok, a few more steps for my day. I go to the self check out and ring up my 2 lbs of bananas up. $5.31!!!! Really?!?!?! These better be the best banana's ever! I put my card in, it takes it then it says remove. But, nothing is happening. I stand there and wait, keep in mind I may have sweat on the back of my shirt from my work out. The cashier, after watching me stand there, tells me to hit the pay now button, then the card button. Well, what do you know? It worked! Finally on my way home.

I was home before 6am, I have my hour of active minutes and my steps, 7918. Not too shabby for a Monday morning.

Now, on to my thought of the day....... Let's talk boob sweat and hair. I know, a funny thought. My boobs are not the smallest and I am in my late 40's, so lets be real, I am not suffocating, on large, perky boobs with fantastic cleavage anymore. Quite the opposite, When I get home from a work out my bra is drenched. What do you do to keep the sisters dry, underneath. I know I could try deodorant, but do I want those chemicals so close to my boobs? Then here is my other thought about working out. I don't go everyday, but I would like to get to the point. I love getting my hair colored. You know, purely to get rid of the grey hair that likes to show off. My hairstylist, Jen,  tells me to use dry shampoo instead of washing my hair everyday. Does dry shampoo work when your hair is a sweaty mess from working out? Any idea's or suggestions, please post in the comments. I would love to hear your thoughts.

This has been a great morning. Hoping to make it a great Monday, all together.
