Slimy Oatmeal, and Wedding Rings.

This morning I briefly woke up to a cold wet nose on my face. I quickly went back to sleep after that. 30 minutes later I wake up to snoring. I roll over and realize Don has already left for the day. I wonder who could be snoring so loudly. I turn on the light and there are my two dogs. Of course it is the weiner dog, comfy and relaxed, snoring like a freight train. I quickly moved her and tried to get back to sleep. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to. I got up and decided to make breakfast.

I decided to go with oatmeal and fruit. This is a risky choice as I have a hard time with certain textures, and cooked oatmeal is one of them. I told myself it won't be that bad. I managed to eat maybe 5 spoonfuls with a large banana. I just couldn't do it. Iggy, will have a great stick to the ribs kind of dinner tonight.

I have been curious to see if I lost any weight this week. I always remember to weigh myself after I eat breakfast. This is why it only happens once a week. ha.

I mentioned my naturopathic doctor, Dr. Lehto, in my first blog. She really is my motivation. I Have to keep track of my eating, drinking and exercise. I keep records of all that, then take it to her when I have an appointment. He really holds me accountable in a nice way. No drill sergeants there.  She has  a partner Dr. Becker. Equally amazing. There is never any negativity. I always leave there office feeling so positive with a can do attitude. I highly recommend them. If you are aren't happy with your current doctor situation, what do you have to lose. Try Everybody's Primary Care. 480-428-5328.

I also added a new goal to my life. I have the most beautiful diamond ring, that I haven't been able to wear in years. My fingers are too fat. I am hoping over the next few months I can lose my finger fat and wear this ring. Not just for one day, but, forever.

Goals are what keeps this girl motivated!
